The Wild Cactus Pathfinder Club observed World Pathfinder Day activities at its church, Ephesus SDA, on Sabbath, September 19, 2009.

Their theme was "Follow the Bible" and the intention was to continue the focus of the global "Follow the Bible" activity, in which the Turks & Caicos Islands leg had been celebrated the previous week.

Sabbath School took the form of a skit in which the participants demonstrated the joy of following God´s Holy Word. For example, the Bible was likened to a camera which comes with an instruction manual telling the user everything about the camera, from how to load batteries to how to take a picture. The question was asked, "When a baby is born, does he or she come with an instruction manual?" The answer was "Yes!-God´s Holy Word." It tells us all we need to know about how to grow in His goodness and live for Him each day. Other highpoints included the fact that the Bible is our weapon against Satan and that if we follow it, we can resist the devil and he will flee.

Divine Service featured club and staff members conducting all aspects of the programme. Director, Mia Malcolm, reported on the growth of the Club and the activities it has been involved in since the beginning of 2009 and called for previous members to return and give their support to the Club and enjoy its activities once again. She also extended an open invitation to those who wanted to become members. The congregation listened to a very reflective rendition of the song "Thy Word is a Lamp Unto My Feet", for the meditation song following which the two speakers, Renard Brown and Daniel Palmer, presented their sermons. They focused on the varied reasons people read the Bible including for fun, for being able to say that they have read the Bible through, for research, etc. They read the Bible to learn what it says about God, to know what He expects of them and to grow more and more like Him each day. They admonished us to read God´s Holy Word daily so that we too can experience spiritual growth.
